The club is housed in heritage-listed premises and offers multiple member facilities including the Members' Bar and adjoining Military Bar, a formal Dining Room, a private Cellar, a Level 4 co-working space and meeting room, a Bill Brown billiard room, and a Reading Room/library. Additionally, there is a private attended car park and on-site accommodation with ten guest rooms.

Dining Options

The club features a formal Dining Room with à la carte service, as well as casual dining options on the front verandah, in the Members' Bar, and the Military Bar. Regular food and beverage programming includes Chef's Table dinners, wine masterclasses, and formal dining nights with specific dress codes and booking requirements.

Accommodation Services

On-site accommodation includes ten guest rooms available for members, their guests, and reciprocal club members. The accommodation options consist of a Club Suite, Superior Rooms (including one accessible room), and Standard Traditional Guest Rooms, all equipped with ensuites, air conditioning, digital TV, free Wi-Fi, and personal bars.

Event Spaces

The club offers seven event areas for hire, including the Glasgow Room, Moreton Room, Royal Room, Owen Room, Club Cellar, Norman Pixley Room, and Front Terrace & Verandah. These spaces come with AV support, complimentary broadband/teleconferencing, and can accommodate events ranging from small meetings to several hundred guests.

Wedding Services

Wedding packages and venue hire are available in the club's heritage buildings, featuring tailored catering and service, event planning support, and downloadable event and wedding information packs.

Past Events

Historic and commemorative events include the Club Centenary celebrations, attended by the Duchess of Kent, the Patron’s Dinner in 1937, and the installation of honour boards for the Great War and Second World War. The club also hosts recurring member events such as formal dinners and memorial commemorations.

Member Benefits

Members have access to a variety of social events including speaker luncheons, industry networking breakfasts, themed dinners, wine tastings, and family events. They can utilize club facilities such as bars, dining areas, co-working spaces, billiards, and the reading room, as well as enjoy on-site parking and accommodation. Members also benefit from reciprocal access to a network of clubs worldwide.

Membership Options

Information regarding membership, including the prospectus and application form, is available on the club's website. Applications require submission of applicant details through an online form and an inquiry to the Membership Manager. The club accepts both civilian and defence members.

Reciprocal Clubs

The club maintains a network of 126 reciprocal clubs worldwide, spanning Australia, Asia Pacific, the UK/Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Visiting members are required to present a Letter of Introduction issued by Club Reception to access reciprocal club facilities.

Access Policy

The club operates primarily as a private members' club for members and their guests. Reciprocal club members are welcome with a Letter of Introduction. Rooms and event spaces can be hired for private or external events, and members enjoy free parking when using food and beverage services or staying overnight.

Seasonal Operations

Reception hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The club is generally open Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 AM until late, and Saturdays from 4:00 PM until late. The club is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Member Support Services

The club acts as a living memorial through honour boards and commemorative features and supports the defence community with memorial activities and member programming. While the site documents family-friendly events and networking opportunities, it does not publish dedicated welfare or counselling services on public pages.

Charity Involvement

The club operates a Club Heritage Trust Fund, which was launched in 2010 under the auspices of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland). This fund receives tax-deductible donations for the preservation and maintenance of the club’s heritage buildings, furniture, and artworks.
