Tokyo American Club

A club offering two clubhouses with dining, event spaces, fitness facilities, guest studios, and networking opportunities.

Founded in 1928, the Club operates two clubhouses in Azabudai (current facility opened 2011) and Nihonbashi (satellite opened 2021), offering event and meeting spaces, a rooftop sky pool and terrace, spa, bowling alley, library, squash courts, gym, golf simulator and seven Guest Studios.

On-site dining ranges from family cafés to formal restaurants and seasonal rooftop options, while a regular events calendar covers fitness, cultural, family and community programming; private dining and banquet services are available.

Membership tiers include Full, Short-Term and Nihonbashi categories, with business facilities, reciprocal access to 150+ partner clubs and the US Ambassador to Japan as honorary president.

Club History

The Club was founded in 1928. The current Azabudai facility, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli, opened on January 18, 2011, while the Nihonbashi satellite clubhouse opened in March 2021. More details can be found here.
