Timarron Country Club

History

Established in September 1994, the club’s centerpiece is an 18-hole championship course designed by Byron Nelson. Shortly after opening, Timarron was rated the seventh-best new golf course in the U.S. by Golf Digest and received the 1999 Environmental Steward Award for North Texas from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Social Activities

Timarron features an active member social calendar that includes recurring themed dinners and food events, such as weekly "Smoke and Spuds," wine tastings, trivia nights, Ladies/Women’s Club programming, networking lunches, Drinks & Divots, family brunches, and other member social gatherings. Recreational Amenities

The club offers a championship golf course and comprehensive practice facilities, including a double-sized driving range and a short-game area. Golf Facilities

The golf facilities include an 18-hole, Par 72 Byron Nelson-designed championship course with a rating of 73.7 and a slope of 134, covering a yardage of 7,013. The boutique fitness center is equipped with Technogym machines and includes a Pilates studio, group exercise studio, and personal training services. Dining Experiences

The primary restaurant, Champ’s 52, features three dining rooms, including a private dining room and a Members Tavern, with seasonal, scratch-kitchen menus led by Chef Leo Wilford. The club provides Kids Club programming for ages 1-12, with a member rate of $15 per child and a maximum registration of five children per membership.
