History
Founded from the Yale Alumni Association of New York City and incorporated on May 26, 1897, the Club moved through early clubhouses before opening the current James Gamble Rogers–designed 22-story clubhouse at 50 Vanderbilt Avenue in 1915. Historically, it has evolved from a men-only institution to a modern, coeducational alumni club and remains the largest college clubhouse in existence. For further details, visit here.
Membership
Eligibility includes Yale degree holders, full-time Yale graduate students, and full-time Yale faculty. Applications are processed through Member Services, and accepted applicants pay an initiation fee, monthly dues, and a capital commitment online.
