Club History
The club was founded in 2000 and is housed in a Queen Anne–style townhouse that was originally used as the Palumbo family offices. The interiors were designed by Mark Birley, and the early kitchens were run by Albert Roux. The first chairman was Rupert Hambro, and management was taken on by Philip Palumbo in 2018. The dress code requires business attire. Women are expected to wear business attire, while men should wear a collared shirt with smart trousers and shoes; jackets and ties are now optional. Smart dark trainers and dark jeans are permitted, but T-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, bright trainers, sportswear, and ripped/light jeans are prohibited.
