The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1876 and has occupied several sites since then, including grounds at 147 Front Street, a move to the Toronto Athletic Club at 149 College Street in 1895, clay courts on Bathurst Street opened in 1900, and the club’s permanent grounds on Price (now Pricefield) Estate opened and officially opened in 1913 (Toronto Lawn Tennis Club history).

The club has hosted significant events including the first tournament in 1881, helped form the Canadian Lawn Tennis Association in 1890, hosted Canadian championships and Davis Cup exhibitions across its history, and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2026 (Toronto Lawn Tennis Club history).
