The Hurlingham Club is a historic private members' sports and social club located in Fulham, London. Founded in 1869, it is set in 42 acres and features a Georgian clubhouse, with a long association with croquet, tennis, and polo. The Club is historically regarded as the birthplace of polo. Membership is by proposal and requires seconding by current full members. The Club has a waiting list policy, with preference given to children and spouses of current members when vacancies arise.
