The Brisbane Club

A private-members club offering dining, meeting spaces, events, networking, and concierge services since 1903.

Founded in 1903, the Club operates as a private members' organisation offering dining, social and business facilities.

On-site amenities include a Members' Dining Room, Lounge & Bar, a multi-award-winning private Cellar for tastings and wine events, six meeting and event spaces sized 8–250 guests, plus a Functions team and concierge support; the Club runs more than 300 events annually across Special Interest Groups and signature occasions.

Membership requires proposal and seconding by existing members and a waitlist; a modern business dress code applies.

Reciprocal access is available with over 50 domestic and international partner clubs.

Facilities

The Club offers a variety of facilities including the Members' Dining Room, Members' Lounge & Bar, a private underground Cellar, and six dedicated meeting and event spaces that can accommodate between 8 to 250 guests. Dining

On-site dining is managed by the Club kitchen, featuring multiple member dining settings including the Dining Room and Lounge & Bar. Events

The Club runs a year-round events program, hosting over 300 events annually. This includes Special Interest Groups, Signature Events, and private Cellar invitations. A calendar of events is available on the Club website.

Signature and recurring Member events include the Presidents Dinner, International Women’s Day event, Duck & Pinot dinner, and various wine tastings and masterclasses.

Membership

Expressions of interest and a waitlist are in operation for membership. Prospective applicants must be Proposed and Seconded by existing Members, and the Club does not publicly publish membership categories or fees. For more information, contact Member Services through the membership page.

Networking Opportunities

Members have access to extensive networking through more than 300 annual events, Special Interest Groups, and private Cellar invitations.

Business Services

The Club provides meeting and seminar facilities, supported by an on-call Functions Team that manages events and equipment. Concierge support is also available, alongside reciprocal-club access to business and fitness facilities at partner clubs when traveling.

Leisure Activities

Member leisure offerings include Cellar tastings, wine events, and family and social events such as Family Christmas Night. Special Interest Group activities are also available across various themes including arts, food, and recreation.

Dress Code

Modern business attire is required at the Club. For men, this includes collared button-up shirts and dress pants, with a jacket required in the Members' Dining Room. Women are expected to wear tailored dresses or blouses with trousers or skirts. Smart casual attire is permitted in specified areas on Fridays. Member Accommodation

The Club offers reciprocal accommodation privileges through a network of more than 50 domestic and international private clubs. On-site member accommodation is not listed on the Club site, but further details can be found on the reciprocal club page.
