Founded in 1867 and housed since 1910 in a Whidden & Lewis–designed clubhouse at 811 SW Salmon Street, The Arlington Club is a private downtown institution whose historic building is listed on the U.S.
National Register of Historic Places.
It offers member-focused dining (chef-led seasonal menus, a wine cellar, Dagwell’s Bar), 14 meeting and banquet rooms, a library and art collection, a business center with private offices and coworking space, on-site craft brewing, and eight guest rooms.
Membership is invitation-based with sponsorship and vocational/community review; programming includes 17 affinity groups and reciprocal privileges with over 80 clubs.

The Arlington Club was founded on December 9, 1867, originally as the Social Club. It was renamed and moved through several clubhouses before opening its current Whidden & Lewis–designed clubhouse in 1909/1910 at 811 SW Salmon Street. Historically, the club maintained an all-male, exclusionary membership until women were admitted following a vote in 1990, with the first women joining in 1991. The clubhouse is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, having been added on August 30, 2010. More details can be found in the club's history.

The club features a historic downtown clubhouse that includes a stately dining room and wine cellar, Dagwell's Bar, and 14 banquet and private meeting rooms. The Arlington Club offers chef-led seasonal menus curated by Executive Chef John Findlay. Dining options include the second-floor Dining Room and Dagwell's Bar, which provide a selection of handcrafted cocktails and club craft brews, as well as a wine cellar with more than 2,000 bottles. Events
The club maintains an online events calendar that lists member programs, affinity group meetings, speakers, dining events, and private events, with hundreds of member events held annually. Special events include Speakers Corner, Toastmasters, and various affinity-group outings, as well as an annual golf tournament and holiday galas. Membership
Membership at the Arlington Club is invitation-based, requiring prospective members to be sponsored by existing members and reviewed for demonstrated leadership in their vocation and community. Networking Opportunities

Business Services
A business center and two private offices are available for members, equipped with private desks, landlines, Wi-Fi, monitors, and printers. Meeting rooms come with A/V equipment, flip charts, and projectors/screens, as well as a Zoom cart for remote meetings. More details can be found on the business services page.
Member Accommodation
The club offers eight guest rooms exclusively for members, their guests, and reciprocal club members. These include four king suites and queen rooms, with two suites featuring pull-out sofas. Rooms are available year-round, and reservations require a member or reciprocal letter of introduction. More information is available on the accommodation page.
Dress Code
The club has a dress code that allows business-casual attire, including dress denim and collared shirts, except where otherwise specified. Athletic attire and frayed or tattered clothing are not permitted, with some exceptions for overnight guests going directly to or from their rooms. Details are published in the club's Dress Code.
