Snee Farm Country Club

History

Snee Farm Country Club sits on the historic Snee Farm plantation in Mount Pleasant. The club occupies land from the 200-year-old Snee Farm Plantation, and the nearby Snee Farm / Charles Pinckney site is documented by the National Park Service as part of the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site.

Social Activities

The club programs regular member social activities including dances, cookouts, holiday buffets/parties, trivia nights, live music, bridge, bingo, and other family events. The site also advertises member-focused events and a member events calendar.

Recreational Amenities

The renovated clubhouse features a full-service restaurant and bar, board room, outdoor patios, fitness room (use requires a paid upgrade), men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, and sauna. Additionally, there are private dining rooms for events, and an on-site pro shop and practice facilities for golfers.

Sport Facilities

The club offers a championship 18-hole golf course, a grass-tee driving range with measured targets, and a short-game practice area with bunker and chipping/putting greens. There are also 18 lighted tennis courts (8 clay, 10 hard) and two renovated swimming pools (family pool and adult-only pool).

Golf Facilities

The George Cobb-designed 18-hole par-72 championship course measures 6,834 yards and includes a grass tee driving range with measured targets, a short-game practice area, and chipping/putting greens. The club hosts the Rice Planters Amateur tournament and has on-site PGA-certified professionals, along with a fully stocked pro shop.

Fitness Centers

An on-site fitness room is available, but use requires a $25 membership upgrade. The clubhouse also includes men’s and ladies’ locker rooms and a sauna.

Dining Experiences

The full-service clubhouse restaurant and bar offers lunch, dinner, and special menus, including Sunday brunch. There are private dining rooms and outdoor patios available for members and guests, along with on-site catering provided through Relish Distinctive Catering.

Event Spaces

The newly renovated clubhouse includes a 4,000 sq. ft. ballroom with a seated capacity of 30–300, a ceremony lawn, private dining rooms, a board room, and outdoor patios. Rental packages include tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and china, along with on-site event coordination and catering options.

Family and Children

Family amenities include a large family swimming pool, an adult-only pool, family social events, and children’s programming. The club also offers swim lessons and has a swim team.

Youth Programs

The club advertises swim lessons and an organized swim team. It offers junior membership categories and references youth and junior programs, including a Master Junior Golf membership for those under age 35.

Seasonal Events
