History
The Shoreby mansion was originally built in 1890 as the summer residence of Samuel Mather, designed by architect Charles F. Schweinfurth. The property was acquired in 1990 and transformed into the Shoreby Club, which officially opened on May 8, 1993. The club has seen renovations in recent years, including updates to the Harbor Grill and the completion of the Sunset Pavilion in May 2024.
