History

Founded in 1869 in San Francisco (China Basin), the Club moved through Sausalito and established its present site at Belvedere Cove. The main clubhouse was built in 1937, and harbor development continued through the mid-20th century. The Cove House event facility opened in 2020. Accommodation

The club features a year-round harbor with 190 wet slips (24–52 ft), a dedicated visitor/guest dock in front of the clubhouse, a large youth sailing dock, and dry storage racks (83 dry storage spaces reported). Training Programs

The club provides safety training workshops, including US Sailing-sanctioned International Offshore Safety at Sea courses and refreshers.
