The Queensland Cricketers’ Club is a private social members’ club based on level three of the Gabba’s northern stand in East Brisbane, established in 1959.

It provides members with reserved stadium seating, a glass-fronted air-conditioned clubhouse, bars, an executive kitchen and café, a formal restaurant, and three hireable function spaces for events and corporate hospitality.

The Club runs year-round sporting and social programs—cricket, AFL/NRL and Big Bash hospitality, concerts, fine-wine and fundraising lunches—and offers varied membership categories with specific match-day access rules for Full, Social and reciprocal members.

Club History

Founded by members of the Queensland Cricket Association executive, known as the ‘Ginger Group’, the Club was launched on 29 October 1959. It opened its original premises at the Sir Leslie Wilson Pavilion in 1960, which remained the Club's home until the 1998 Gabba redevelopment. Since then, the Club has occupied its current level-three northern-stand premises.

Facilities

The Club features a level three clubhouse on the Gabba’s northern stand with full glass frontage and stadium views. Facilities include an air-conditioned private bar, an executive kitchen, an on-site café, a formal dining restaurant, and three hireable function areas that can be combined to accommodate approximately 400 seated or up to 900 standing guests. The on-site executive kitchen operates a Members’ café offering a variety of food options, including pies, pastries, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, and wraps. The formal restaurant provides set 2– or 3-course match-day dining, with bookings available on game days by reservation. Game-day access is reserved for Full (Principal) Members and their guests who hold valid Club game-day tickets.
