History
The Club was formed in 1959 by representatives of old-scholar associations and settled into Sandford House around 1960. The founding purpose was to provide a place for graduates to socialise and to support the founding schools. The house was built for W.H. Bragg in 1899. Membership is open to 'clubbable' men and women of good standing across a range of professions. Election is by the Committee, and prospective members require a proposer and seconder.
