Port Elizabeth St George's Club

History

The club's origins trace back to the Port Elizabeth Club, established in 1866, and the St George's Club, founded in 1892. These two organizations amalgamated in 1998 to form the Port Elizabeth St George's Club, located at 12 Bird Street. The club site records its establishment back to 1866. The club features an on-site bar and a fully licensed restaurant, as well as multiple function rooms. Notable spaces include the Elizabeth Room, which can accommodate up to 100 guests cinema-style or 86 at tables, and the President’s Room, seating up to 40 cinema-style or 35 at tables.
