Golf Course

The club features a 9-hole course with a par of 33, consisting of four par-3s, four par-4s, and one par-5. The total length is 4,218 meters from the yellow tees and 3,580 meters from the red tees. Course ratings and slopes for 18 holes are available on the club's site, with specific ratings for men and women from both tee options. The course was designed based on sketches by founder Preben Hilfling and opened in 2000, characterized by narrow fairways, blind shots, and an Arctic seaside setting. Tournaments and Events

Lessons and Instructions

A golf school is available, along with an option for new members that includes the first year of membership. Indoor Trackman simulators can be rented, but an instructor must be present if the user does not hold a golf card. Facilities and Services

The club offers practice nets and a putting green adjacent to the clubhouse and parking area. Facilities include two indoor Trackman simulators, a clubhouse lounge with seating, a refrigerator, and a kitchenette. Barbecue facilities and garden furniture are also available, along with a small pro shop for equipment and souvenirs. Visitor Access Policy

Visitors are encouraged to contact Nuuk Golfklub for information regarding green fee availability and tee times. The club, which is volunteer-run, notes that response times may vary. The green fee is priced at DKK 500 per person, which includes service and the loan of equipment. Seasonal Operations

The course is maintained as natural green grass and is playable during the summer months. In winter, members utilize the indoor Trackman simulators. The club specifies that outdoor play occurs in the summer, while indoor activities take place during the winter here.

A small on-site pro shop sells golf equipment and souvenirs. Rental clubs for visitors are stored in a container here.

Community Engagement

Membership Options

Course Status

The course is maintained as natural grass and is playable during the summer. The first four holes were completed in 1999, with the remaining five finished in 2000. The club now employs its own greenkeepers for spring preparation of the course here.
