Malaysian Petroleum Club

About

The club was founded in 1991 by the late Tun Azizan Zainul Abidin, originally located at the PETRONAS Dayabumi Complex. It later relocated to Levels 41–43 of Tower 2, PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur. More details about the club's history can be found here.

Facilities

The club offers various facilities including restaurants such as Dulang Suite, Temana Brasserie Coffee House, and Seligi Pavilion Chinese Restaurant, as well as a Bayan Bar, Samarang Karaoke Room, Meeting Room, Tapis 1 & 2, Lobby Lounge, Reading Room, and KIKU Event Hall. Dining Options

The club provides multiple on-site dining options, including Western fine dining at Dulang Suite, all-day dining and buffet at Temana Brasserie, and Cantonese/Szechuan cuisine at Seligi Pavilion. Venue Hire

The club offers private venue hire for meetings, signing ceremonies, seminars, conferences, and private functions. Meeting capacities include the Meeting Room (30 pax), Tapis 1 & 2 (50 pax), Lobby Lounge (100 pax), and KIKU Event Hall, which is the largest event space. The club is positioned as a private business club for the petroleum sector and related professions. It hosts industry social events and provides networking benefits for members, including access to the SkyBridge. Membership Options

Membership categories and an Entrance Fee/Subscription schedule are listed on the club's website. For Corporate Membership, the Entrance Fee is RM32,400, with a Security Deposit of RM1,000 per nominee and a Monthly Subscription of RM248.40, inclusive of 8% SST. Dress Code

The club enforces a smart casual dress code, prohibiting T-shirts, jeans, sneakers, and sandals as per the Club Rules.

Special Events

Regular and seasonal dining promotions, as well as annual events such as the Malaysian Petroleum Golf Classic and gala dinners, are organized for members. The club also publishes a Resource Magazine with recent issues and release dates available here.
