Founded in 1855, Sociedad Liceo Casino de Pontevedra occupies a neoclassical Sede Social (opened 1878) and a 12,000 m² Parque de A Caeira complex offering meeting rooms, exhibition and reading spaces, gyms, heated indoor and outdoor pools, courts, chapel, and a chalet with restaurant.

The society runs two on-site restaurants, a cafeteria and snack bar, a rolling cultural and social events program (including the annual Peregrina gala), and facilities for private venue hire and business meetings.

History

The Liceo Casino de Pontevedra society was founded on 25 February 1855. The current neoclassical building was completed in 1878 and opened on 2 August 1878. More details can be found on the club's website.

The club features a historic building known as Sede Social, which includes the Salón Noble, Sala Méndez Núñez, an exhibition room, reading room, library, and cafeteria.
