Governors Club

About

The Governors Club is a private members club chartered in 1982 and located in a historic downtown Tallahassee building, with the original structure dating back to 1926. The club took possession of the clubhouse in 1981 and officially opened in 1982, with subsequent facility additions and renovations occurring in 1992, 1996, 2006, 2017, 2019, and a planned lounge renovation in 2024. Facilities

The club features multiple private and social spaces, including the Main Dining Room, which accommodates seated banquets of up to 130 guests and receptions for up to 200. Other spaces include the Plantation Room (seats 50), B.C. Room (seats approximately 24), The Grille (casual dining, seating up to 75), The Lounge (with two private rooms, a bar, and a cigar room), as well as the Balcony, Patio, and Florida Ballroom.
