Field Club of Omaha, founded in 1900 and renamed in 1953, is a private member club centered on an 18-hole golf course with PGA staff, practice facilities, and year-round golf simulators.

History

Founded in 1900 as the Omaha Cricket Association, which later became the Omaha Amateur Athletic Association and then the Omaha Field Club, the Field Club of Omaha built its original clubhouse in 1901 and expanded its golf course to 18 holes by 1902. The club has hosted major events historically, including the 1941 U.S. Amateur, and counts Johnny Goodman, the 1933 U.S. Open champion, among its notable members. The club was renamed Field Club of Omaha in 1953 and has undergone periodic facility and course improvements through the 20th and 21st centuries.

Social Activities
