The Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is situated on the historic Alfred I. duPont estate, which was built in the 1920s and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The property was restored and repurposed as a yacht and country club after being acquired by Gate Petroleum in 1984.
