Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada is a historic maritime institution in the Azores, fostering nautical activities for over a century.

Facilities
The club provides boatyard facilities that include parking and berthing for boats, as well as rental space for companies for maintenance and equipment sales. It has historically operated support boats and managed marina parking and support facilities associated with the Portas do Mar complex.
Members can access moorings and anchorage integrated within the Portas do Mar complex, which includes the marina. The club historically managed marina parking arrangements and reception for visiting and regatta yachts.
On-site clubhouse features include a restaurant (Restaurante São Pedro), Wi-Fi, training rooms, a merchandising shop, and certified sailing and swimming schools. The club also offers boat parking and rentable warehouses for nautical maintenance and sales.
Training
The club operates certified training programs, including a certified Escola de Vela with accredited coaches, offering courses from youth Optimist to Laser/420 and adult courses. It also has an Escola de Navegação de Recreio accredited by the DGRM, offering courses from Marinheiro to Patrão do Alto Mar, along with complementary practical courses. Additionally, there is an Escola de Natação that provides teaching, training, and competitive programs.
Racing
The club organizes and supports racing at local, regional, and international levels, including the long-standing Azores and Back Yacht Race (AZAB) since 1975. It runs local and regional regattas across various sailing classes and supports participation in international events.
Cruising
An active iatismo/vela de cruzeiro section maintains an annual rally calendar, supports participation in international races and cruises, and organizes cruising-related events for members.
Social Activities
The club runs social programs and events, including holiday camps, youth sailing festivals, and regular social activities. Historically, it has organized fundraising and community support initiatives.
Seasonal Operation
The secretaria operates Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. The warehouse has seasonal hours from 1 May to 30 September, open daily from 09:00 to 20:00, and from 1 October to 30 April, open daily from 09:00 to 18:00. In December, the secretaria operates Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 18:00.
