Founded in 1972 to attract large yachts to the Bay of Palma, Club de Mar–Mallorca is a members' marina and sporting club offering over 500 berths, including more than 70 superyacht berths accommodating vessels up to about 170 metres, plus 24-hour dock staff, fuel, utilities and Wi‑Fi.

It runs a year‑round nautical programme—weekly summer sailing courses for ages 7–16, weekend courses October–May, plus canoeing and paddle‑surf—while organising major regattas such as the Illes Balears Clàssics and serving as Superyacht Cup Palma venue partner from 2025.

A multi‑building renovation begun around 2020 is expanding members’ facilities (pool, restaurants, gym/spa), event pavilion Migjorn, reciprocal club links and meeting/event services.

Club de Mar–Mallorca was founded on June 1, 1972, with the original purpose of attracting large yachts to the Bay of Palma. The club has over 50 years of operation and is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation and expansion of its facilities that began around 2020. Sailing Programme

The club operates a year-round nautical programme that includes sailing courses for adults and children at multiple levels. This programme features monthly weekend courses from October to May, weekend classes on Saturdays and Sundays, and a summer school with weekly courses for ages 7 to 16, typically running from late June to early September. Racing Events

The club organizes numerous annual regattas, with the Illes Balears Clàssics being its flagship classic-yacht regatta. A published regatta calendar includes both national and international events, such as the Balearic Kayak Championship and the Superyacht Cup Palma, for which the club will serve as a venue partner starting in 2025. Facilities Overview

Facilities also feature electrical and water supply at berths, Flovac wastewater removal, a fuel station, Wi-Fi, and 24-hour dock staff and security. Dining Services

The club offers on-site dining options, including restaurants and cafeterias located within the members' area and public commercial spaces. In 2025/2026, the club announced a strategic alliance with Azotea Grupo to operate two restaurants: one in the exclusive members' area next to the pool with a special menu for members, and another with marina views. Club de Mar provides event and meeting rooms, as well as a flexible event pavilion (Migjorn) that can be adapted for various functions, including conferences and dining.
