Club History
Founded in 1841, originally called Liceo Casino de Badajoz, the club had its first statutes approved on 28 April 1861. Over time, the society moved through several premises and today operates a Sede Social in the historic city headquarters at Calle Ramón Albarrán 14 and a separate Club de Campo focused on sports and outdoor activities.
Social Activities
The club offers a regular programme of cultural and social activities, including ballroom dance, theatre, poetry and painting workshops. Traditional seasonal social events such as carnival and Epiphany children’s parties, Gala del Deporte, Fiesta de Gala, Día del Socio, end-of-summer party, Halloween, and an alcohol-free New Year event are also organized. Recreational Amenities
The Sede Social features a bar, restaurant, library with approximately 6,500 volumes, billiard room, reading room, game rooms, and a cyber/Internet area.
