History

Carmel Country Club was founded in 1947 by a group of local businessmen. The club opened its first clubhouse in 1949 and its original golf course in 1950. The South Course opened in 1969 and was redesigned by Rees Jones. A resort-style pool complex was added in 2007, and the North Course along with practice facilities were renovated and expanded in 2016.
