Carlouel Beach and Yacht Club

History

The Club was founded in 1934 and was originally a cabana/yacht club formed by local families. The name derives from the first syllables of founding women Caroline Hobart, Louise Palmer, and Eleanor Randolph. Over time, the membership grew, and the Club has maintained a family-oriented, Old-Florida character while expanding its amenities.

Sailing Activities

The Club offers a variety of sailing activities including boating and dockage with deep-water floating docks and slips, Intracoastal cruising, fishing, pool swimming, competitive and recreational swim programs, swimming lessons, beachfront activities, and member-use kayaks. Moorage Options

There is more than 400 feet of deep-water floating dockage available, accommodating yachts up to 70 feet. Wooden docks are available for boats under 25 feet on a first-come basis. Reservations for floating docks are required before 12:00 pm, and additional details can be found in the moorage options document.

Facilities and Services

The Club features a private member-only beach accessed by a gated boardwalk, an outdoor family pool, resort-style pool cabanas, a Har-Tru tennis court, turfed lawns, fire pits, and multiple event spaces for meetings and private events.
