Belvedere Golf and Country Club

Club History

Founded in 1961 as a private, member-owned golf and country club; the course and clubhouse have undergone multiple improvements and long-range planning, with notable works in 1981, 1993, and a course development plan in 2005. More details can be found in the membership information.

Recreational Amenities

The club features an 18-hole championship golf course on 160 acres, a full-length driving range, large putting and chipping greens, and a staffed pro shop that offers club fitting and demo programs. Additional amenities include a snack shack, clubhouse dining and patio, as well as locker and club storage options.

Golf is the primary sport at the club, which includes an 18-hole championship layout with practice facilities, such as a full-length driving range and dedicated putting and chipping greens. PGA of Canada–certified professionals are on staff to assist members.

Family and Children

Seasonal Events

The club publishes an annual members' events calendar that includes perennial tournaments, specialty dinners, seasonal celebrations, and other member tournaments and activities throughout the season and winter months. Details can be found on the events page.

Access Policies

Membership is shareholder-based, requiring all members to be a primary shareholder or the spouse, partner, or dependent of a shareholder. New members must purchase a share and pay the entrance fee before activation or waitlist placement. Annual charges include an annual green fee, a mandatory capital fee of $1,200 per year, and a minimum food and beverage spend of $600 per year. Wedding Services

Membership Joining

Shareholder entrance fee options include $10,000 paid in full, $11,000 paid over two years (or $459 per month), and $12,000 paid over three years (or $334 per month). Annual membership fees vary by category, with examples for 2026 including Prime at $5,000, Intermediate at $3,700, and Evening at $1,600, plus the mandatory capital fee and minimum food and beverage spend. An Associate one-year option is available for $7,900 plus GST, with the opportunity to become a full shareholder afterward. More details can be found in the membership information.

Guest Access

Prime shareholders have 7-day advance booking privileges and may book with up to three guests per day, with a guest rate applying. Membership categories include tee-time restrictions for some categories, such as after 11am on weekends for certain categories and after 5pm on weekdays for evening memberships.
