Club History

The Astor Club occupies and restores historic Maxim’s de Paris spaces in Chicago and presents itself as the modern revival of a storied nightlife location. The club’s site documents a long cultural history and lists notable performers and past associations in its History section.

Club Facilities

The club has two locations: the evening Supper Club at 24 E Goethe St and a planned daytime Clubhouse at 1516 N Lake Shore Dr. Facilities include a marble lobby and bar, great room, café, library, meeting rooms, private event suites, overnight guest suites (at the Lake Shore Drive clubhouse), rooftop deck and grill, personal salon services, Maxim’s Dining Room with stage, and L'Imperiale Lounge cocktail bar. The club offers MICHELIN-listed fine-dining supper club dining room and lounge menus, specialty cocktails at L'Imperiale, and a Chef’s Table tasting menu led by Michelin-starred Chef Trevor Teich. Events Calendar

The club hosts a public events calendar with regular programming that includes live music nearly every weekend, wine tastings and dinners, themed parties, charity and art events, fashion shows, guest speakers, and flagship holiday and anniversary events. Special Events

Membership Options

Networking Opportunities

The club provides curated members-only programming that includes guest speakers, fashion shows, charity and art events, and special member evenings, all designed to support social and professional networking. More information is available here.

Sports Facilities

While there are no on-site sports facilities, members receive reciprocal access to country and golf clubs in Chicago, and the club programs member sporting activities such as the Astor Club Open golf tournament. Additional details can be found here.

Member Accommodation

The planned Lake Shore Drive clubhouse will include overnight guest suites for members and their visitors, while the current Supper Club location operates as an evening-oriented venue. More information can be found here.

Dress Code

Members are required to adhere to the Club dress code, which is detailed in the Rules & Regulations. Event listings reference a ‘Standard Club Dress Code’ for routine evenings and specify formal dress for flagship events.

Affiliations
