Profile

The Profile tab is part of Your Organisation in the Affinet dashboard. It holds your club’s public profile: the main description, a short summary, and images (such as your logo and club picture). This content can be shown in directories, listings, and on your club’s page.

Where to find it

  1. Open the Affinet dashboard.
  2. Click Your Organisation in the dashboard navigation.
  3. Click the Profile tab in the left sidebar.

The Club Profile form loads when you open the tab. If you see a loading message, wait a moment for it to appear.

What’s on the Club Profile form

Club profile (main description)

The main description of your club. This is a rich-text field: you can use formatting (bold, lists, links, etc.) to describe your club, its history, facilities, and what makes it special.

  • Edit the text in the editor.
  • Use the toolbar for formatting if available.
  • This content is often shown in full on your club’s profile or in directory listings.

Short profile

A brief summary of your club (often one or two sentences). Used where only a short description is shown—for example in search results or compact listings.

  • Keep it concise so it works well in limited space.

Images

The form can include image fields such as:

  • Club picture – main image for your club (e.g. building or key area).
  • Logo – your club’s logo.
  • Small, wide, and large pictures – additional images used in different layouts.

Exact labels depend on your site configuration. For each image you can typically:

  • Upload a new image.
  • Remove or replace an existing image.
  • Rely on any size or format rules shown on the form.

Tip

Use clear, relevant images. They help visitors recognise your club and are often used in directories and on your public profile.

Saving your changes

  1. Fill in or change the Club profile text, Short profile, and/or images as needed.
  2. Click the form’s Save button (usually at the bottom of the form).
  3. A success message confirms that the club profile was saved. The form may reload with the updated content.

If you leave the tab or the dashboard without saving, your edits are not stored.

Editing in general

  • The whole Club Profile is one form: one Save saves all changes on that tab.
  • The form is loaded when you open the Profile tab; if you don’t see the fields, wait for the form to finish loading.
  • After saving, the form may refresh; that’s normal.
  • Organisation info – your club’s name, address, email, phone, and contact preferences (first tab under Your Organisation).
  • Administrator info – the person who manages the club and their contact details (Administrator info tab under Your Organisation).
  • Organization > Overview – organisation overview and profile.
