Letter Fields

Letter fields allow you to customize what information appears on your letters of introduction.

Understanding Letter Fields

Letter fields are placeholders that get filled in with actual data when a letter is generated. Common fields include:

  • Member name
  • Member number
  • Organization name
  • Validity dates
  • Access level
  • Club information

Configuring Fields

  1. Navigate to Letters of IntroductionLetter Fields
  2. Review the available fields
  3. Configure which fields to include
  4. Set field labels and formatting
  5. Save your configuration

Custom Fields

You can also create custom fields for specific information you need to include on your letters.

Field Tokens

Fields use tokens (placeholders) that are replaced with actual data. For example:

  • {member_name} - Replaced with the member's name
  • {valid_from} - Replaced with the start date
  • {valid_to} - Replaced with the end date

Best Practices

  • Only include necessary fields to keep letters concise
  • Use clear, descriptive field labels
  • Test your field configuration before using it
  • Keep field formatting consistent
